About South Africa based Photographer - Cape Town
I didn't grow up in my father's darkroom, and I wasn't the photo editor of my high school newspaper. But I was selected by Photoshelter as one of twenty rising photographers to take part in 'Shoot! On Location' in New York, where I took second place in the event.
I've been lucky enough to travel to many incredible places. Currently I'm based in Cape Town, South Africa where I live with my wife, baby girl and chocolate lab. When I'm not working I can be found shooting down the mountain on my bicycle, in the waves with a board or in the garden with the pruning shears.
Over the years I have worked with some great companies: Boeing, CNN-Turner Images, CBS, Time Warner, Gates Foundation and Ogilvy & Mather to name a few.
It's been a great ride so far, and I'm looking forward to staying engaged, creative and challenged in my work. I believe in team work and collaboration, so let's meet and get photographing. (Or let's meet and get going on some great images).
